Veteran encourages others to enlist

Kimball’s newest deputy sheriff, Anthony Osborn, arrived in August of this year, and will attend the Nebraska Police Academy in Grand Island in March 2016, where he will receive his certification when he graduates.

Osborn, who describes himself as a Huskers fan through and through, hopes he and his wife, Lacy, will continue living in Kimball in the future, with their two dogs, Grimm and Reaper and that they will see Kimball grow and thrive.

“I’m from a small town, so I enjoy living in a small town and Kimball residents have made us feel welcomed,” he said.
