Banner Capital Bank acquires Oregon Trail Bank

Roger Wynne, President/CEO of Banner County Bank Corporation of Harrisburg, has announced Banner’s acquisition of Oregon Trail Bank in Guernsey, Wyo.

Banner County Bank Corporation is a locally owned bank holding company which owns Banner Capital Bank of Harrisburg, with Nebraska offices in Harrisburg, Alma, Beaver City, McCook and in Wheatland, Wyo. With the acquisition, Banner will have combined Banking assets in excess of $140 million in Nebraska and Wyoming.

Oregon Trail Bank has offices in Guernsey, Cheyenne and Chugwater in Wyoming, and is managed by long term President and CEO Leonard Scoleri.  Scoleri will continue as president and CEO of Oregon Trail Bank. The bank will continue to operate as an independent Wyoming Bank with the same name and same commitment to serving Southeast Wyoming’s financial needs. 

“Our acquisition by Banner will allow us to better serve our customers as a result of stronger capital, increased lending limits and expanded financial services we can provide to our customers,” Scoleri said.
