Fall Sports: Young Kimball team will hit the links in 2015

It will be a whole new world for the Kimball girls golf team this season.

Third-year coach Nora Robinson lost a pair of seniors from last year's squad and has two newcomers filling out this year's team. Gone from last year are graduating seniors Jaycie Walker, a state qualifier, and Kallie Bush.

It will be the first-ever varsity high school season this year for both Lila Moore and Natasha Selves.

Robinson said the two have plenty of potential.

"They are both learning very fast and having a lot of fun and showing potential to be real competitors this season," she said.

Robinson said her young squad will most likely start the squad playing junior varsity for the first few tournaments until they get their feet wet.
