The 2014-15 rodeo royalty were honored for their service throughout the year last Saturday at the competition for the 2015-16 titles. Paige Cross will repeat as rodeo queen, while Lacey Klinkhammer will repeat as rodeo princess. Nicole Delaplane also competed for the rodeo princess title. The Kimball Library was a busy place last Saturday as two beautiful and charming young women competed for the title of 2016 Kimball Rodeo Princess.
Judges for the contest this year were Julianne Randall, Lorrell Walters and Stacy Whetstine. Nicole Delaplane won the speech and personal interview divisions. She is the daughter of Bryan And Cheryl Patrick of Harrisburg. Lacey Klinkhammer won in the horsemanship, and appearance and personality divisions, which brought her narrowly ahead in points and led to her winning the princess title for the second straight year.
