Doug Lukassen, left, presents Troy Freeburg with the Nebraska Pioneer Farm Award. It is presented to families who have owned their farm for at least 100 years. Troy's great-grandfather homesteaded the farm in 1912 and it was deeded to the family in 1914. It is now owned by Troy and his wife, Loretta.

Exhibitors of all stripes had a busy week at the annual Kimball-Banner County Fair last week showing off their animals and various projects. The annual event also hosted concerts, a rodeo and more.
