Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First

Power line work will be done in Kimball on June 24

On Wednesday, June 24, contractors and the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) will be working on the city’s power line that feeds Kimball’s electricity.

Work is tentatively scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to last into the afternoon.

During this time, the city’s power plant will be generating electricity for the city.

The city does not anticipate any interruptions in electrical service or outages, but they may occur in unique or extreme circumstances. The city asks for patience as it works to strengthen and improve the reliability of the city’s electrical system.
