Kimball speech wins at Hemingford, finishes third at SPVA

The Kimball speech team for won the championship at the Hemingford Invitational on Saturday. Individual awards went to:

Ryan Soper - fifth place, Serious Prose.

Taylor Muldoon, Kallie Bush, Sanford Day, Audrey Day and Leisha Casimiro - fifth place, Oral Interpretation of Drama.

Nicholas Thomas-Lewis - third place, Poetry.

Kennedy Lewis - third place, Humorous Prose.

Nicholas Thomas-Lewis, Kaden Adrian, Ryan Soper, Sebastian Portillo and Paycen Harroun - third place, Oral Interpretation of Drama.

Cassie Kurth - second place, Persuasive Speaking.

Darcy Usher - second place, Poetry.

Connor Moore - second place, Humorous Prose.

Jodell Schulte - first place, Entertainment Speaking.

Kennedy Lewis - first place, Extemporaneous Speaking.

Leisha Casimiro - first place, Informative Speaking.

The Kimball speech team finished in third place at the very tough SPVA conference meet held Monday.  Individual awards went to:

Darcy Usher - sixth place, Poetry Interpretation.

Audrey Day - fifth place, Extemporaneous Speaking.

Kennedy Lewis - third place, Humorous Prose.

Cassie Kurth - second place, Persuasive Speaking.

Taylor Muldoon - second place, Serious Prose.

Connor Moore - second place, Humorous Prose.

Kennedy Lewis - first place, Extemporaneous Speaking.

Leisha Casimiro - first place, Informative Speaking.
