Lady Wildcats defeat Minatare, 40-27

The Banner County girls basketball team split a pair of games last week, winning against Minatare on Thursday and dropping a game against Bayard. The Lady Wildcats are now 1-3 on the season.

The Lady Wildcats are scheduled to play Leyton at home on Friday and at Creek Valley on Saturday.

The Lady Wildcats jumped out to the early lead and rolled to a 40-27 win on Thursday against Minatare.

Banner led 8-0 after the first quarter and held a 14-11 lead at halftime. The Lady Wildcats outscored Minatare 26-16 in the second half.
