Coyotes top Creek Valley, drop game to Paxton

The Potter-Dix boys basketball split a pair of games last week, winning 56-50 on Friday at Creek Valley and falling Saturday to Paxton. The Coyotes are now 2-2 on the season.

The Coyotes took the first quarter lead and steadily built on that in a 56-50 win on Friday at Creek Valley.

The Coyotes took an 11-8 first quarter lead and held a 22-16 lead at the half. They extended that to 42-32 going into the final frame.

Cameron Purcell led Potter-Dix with 21 points, while Cole Christensen added nine. Trevor Harms had a team-high 11 rebounds in the win.
