Slessor entertained his audience with a comedic take on the relationship between British and American culture and speech. His anecdotes entertained and excited all in attendance. He was visiting to promote his book "More Than Cowboys." His book offers an interesting take on the history of the American West. Slessor will be speaking at Sisters Grimm bookstore in Bushnell this Saturday.
