Kristy Kay (Buddecke) Mazel

Kristy Kay (Buddecke) Mazel, 49, of Lincoln, passed away May 12, 2014. Kristy's big heart touched many lives, not only in her home town of Kimball, but also to many people who knew and loved her in Lincoln where she spent most of her last years.

She is survived by her parents; Ted Mazel and wife (Sharon) of Sterling, Colo., Patricia Buddecke and husband Leo of Kimball, Sisters Corinna Schmidt (Todd) of Sterling, Colo., Angela Gregory (Jerry) of Fruita, Colo., Penny Harms (Brian) of Kimball. Many loving nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Kristy's life was held Monday, May 19, 2014, at 1 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 601 Locust St. in Kimball.
