Jerome H. Wise age 70, passed away at the Estes Park Medical Center May 11, 2014.

He is Survived by his wife, Sharron K. of Estes Park, Son: Chad E. Wise (Jennifer) of Kimball, NE, Son: Scott A. Wise (Cecilia) of Omaha, NE, Daughter: Christine E. Brakhage of Cincinnati, OH, and 6 Grandchildren: Dillon Jacob Wise, Payton Nicole Wise, Breckin Jerome Wise, Vanessa Kae Wise, Ian Michael Wise, Ryan Brakhage, Brothers: Marion M. Wise (Vivian) & James L. Wise (Joyce) of Knoxville, TN

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, 2 brothers and sisters. Jerome served in the Air Force from 1959 thru Dec. 1964. He was a police officer in Lincoln, Nebraska and also worked for the CB&Q Railroad, serving as Local Chairman for Brotherhood Railway Carmen, Lodge 6799.

From Nov. 1974 thru Aug 2012 he worked as an investigator, investigating personal injury cases on behalf of Railroad workers and was a union member since 1964.

Jerome was an avid sportsman and golfer and a lifetime member of Prairie Bowmen Archery Club in Lincoln, Nebraska. He truly loved helping and doing for others.

His integrity was unsurpassable. He valued honesty above all else. He was willing to tell the truth no matter the cost. His character defined him.

Jerome lived by the Bible verse:

"And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't get discouraged and give up." Galatians 6:9

Donations may be made to the Estes Park Medical Center Foundation (EPMCF) in care of Allnutt Funeral Service 1302 Graves Ave. Estes Park, CO 80517

Viewing will be Wednesday 2:00 to 8:00 PM with family present from 6:00 to 8:00

Funeral will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Thursday at 11:00 AM.

Burial will be at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
