    Calling all volunteers. Salvation Army Bell Ringers are needed at Kimball's Main Street Market from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Friday and Saturday beginning Friday, Dec. 4 and ending Dec. 19. The Red Kettle Christmas campaign, the Salvation Army's most prominent fund-raiser, first started in 1891 in San Francisco, according to the organization's website.     Kimball City Council passed resolution 2015-10, setting rental rates for city-owned equipment to private sector businesses and citizens at their regular meeting, Nov. 17.     At the most recent Kimball Park and Recreation Board meeting, the Park and Recreation Superintendent, Jeremy Williams addressed both the County Commissioners and the City Council for money to purchase several pieces of equipment to replace older units.     It was a bountiful year for Kimball area deer hunters with a grand total of 226 deer checked in at the Sportsman's Liquor check-in location. According to Lissa Wangler, owner of Sportsman's Liquor, they checked in 200 mule deer and 26 white tail with 165 bucks and 61 does.     A single vehicle accident on Interstate 80 claimed the lives of a Scottsbluff couple Nov. 12. The accident occurred shortly after 10 p.m., when the driver of an eastbound 2012 Buick Enclave, Kelly Rose, 57, fell asleep. The vehicle left the roadway and collided with the concrete of the Bushnell overpass. Neither the driver, nor her passenger, Forrest Rose, 64, were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident, according to Deb Collins, spokesperson for the Nebraska State Patrol.
