    Courtney Knisley finished 20th to lead Banner County at the Alliance cross country meet last Saturday. Knisley finished 20th with a time of 23:44.3 in the girls varsity trace. Rebekah Rawlings of Gering won the individual standings in 19:51.22 In the JV boys race, Josh Boston finished 21st with a time of 22:40.61. Christian Camacho of Gering won the race.   • Paxton jumps out early, rolls past Coyotes

    Paxton scored 32 first quarter points and rolled past Potter-Dix, 62-16, last Friday in Sutherland. The Tigers (1-2) outscored the Coyotes 32-0 in the first quarter and 12-8 in the second for a 44-8 halftime advantage. Paxton also outscored Potter-Dix 18-8 in the second half. Kaden Schow rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Tigers, while Ryan Fox rushed for 103 yards and a score and was also 4-of-5 passing for 112 yards and three touchdowns.
