    Kimball City Council discussed a Keno grant request for the upcoming Kimball Fireworks Display. When the Kimball Banner County Chamber of Commerce ceased collecting funds for the annual display, last year, local business owners took over, raising enough funds in just one short week to provide the community display.     The Mobile Emergency Command Center Region 21 rolled into town Tuesday May 16 to let the Kimball County Board of Commissioners tour the bus. Kimball just joined four other counties that this Mobile unit services on April 1 2017. If needed this bus will go out if a disaster happens, like a flood, tornado and set up.     County road maintenance is a long standing concern for Kristopher Nitz, a resident who lives on County Road 63. Nitz addressed the Kimball County Board of Commissioners at their May 16 meeting regarding the condition of the road.
