    According to Colorado State officials, an explosion involving a truck full of crude oil and an old gas station used as a storage facility for many oil field trucks, went up in flames Sunday morning, Dec. 24. The seventh graders finished their season with a 4-5 record, topping Bayard on Monday, Dec. 4 with a final score of 12-6.     Kimball’s junior high wrestling team ended the year with several grapplers placing at meets across the region. According to head Coach Klent Schnell, the year began with 11 wrestlers, but those were quickly reduced to eight due to injuries, transfers and eligibility requirements.
