Adam Bohac Making Big Impact

Kimball Product Makes Top 50 List For NAIA & NCAA Division II Coaches

Adam Bohac, who was a standout athlete for Kimball High during his prep days and went on to play basketball for the University of Nebraska, has been named to the "50 Impactful Coaches" list in a release that came out this past week.

This list includes the NCAA Division II and NAIA, according to the release.

In his 12 seasons with Southern Nazarene University as the head coach of the men's basketball program, Bohac has taken his team to one Final Four and two Elite Eights in the NAIA spectrum.

He has guided SNU to GAC regular season championship the past three seasons and two straight GAC Conference Tournament championships, a feat that has never been accomplished in the history of the conference.

In his time with the program, he has compiled an overall record of 253 wins and 123 losses for a .673 win percentage.

Adam has set many program records along the way, including the highest win total in a three-year span, the most consecutive trips to the national tournament, the fastest coach to 100 wins, the school's first national ranking in Division II, and the first All American as well.

Adam went to Southern Nazarene via the United States Military Academy, where he served as an assistant for one season. He also spent time as an assistant for three seasons at SNU before taking over as head coach in 2008.
