Panhandle senior ladies golf holds second outing of 2015 golf season

The Panhandle Senior Women’s Golf Association held its latest outing at Scenic Knolls Golf Course in Mitchell. The team of Jane Holechek, Karen Koch, Ellen Ramig and Chris Lapaseotes took first place and secured five birdies.

Second place went to Marlys Delle, Phyllis Greenwood, Sandy Huckfeldt and Margaret Lienemann, who captured four birdies. Norma Perkins, Bonnie Childs, Mary Nielsen and Sharon Havely shot one birdie and ended up in third place, while fourth place with three birdies went to the team of Deanna Funk, Jill Wozniak, Gina Briggs and Rose Jacoby.

Placing fifth and getting one birdie was the team of Donna Engleman, Sally Plover, Debra Fuss and Donna Meier. Sixth place and two birdies went to the team of Shirley Crossman, Shelly Nienhueser, Vickie Nemnich and Jeannette Fitzgerald. Janice DeBoer, Claudia Benda, Terry Espinoza and Jan Bashaw scored one birdie as did the team of Joy Eberhardt, Londa Maron, Lynn Schukei, and Pat Rogers. Three birdies were captured by the team of Sylvia Debus, Connie Booth, Jerry Mathistad, and Terry Korell.

Sharon Nuss and Childs both had hole outs. Flag prizes were won by Nuss, Rogers, Childs, Huckfeldt, Wozniak, Ramig, Nemnich, Perkins, Briggs, Greenwood, T. Korell and Julie Walworth.
